Virtual Reality, drones, artificial intelligence and 3D printing are all on the cards as UDC Festival makes a return for its 3rd year.

The one day festival will see over 100 events squeezed into the Belfield campus on Saturday 9 June.

Activities go right across the spectrum with many arts, technology, and family friendly events lined up.

The Sports and Fitness Centre will be hosting tennis coaching, rugby and GAA mini-drills while 'The Inspiration Zone' will see kids attempt to build robots out of Lego.

There will also be science and technology hubs where people can try their hand at virtual reality, drones, robots and 3D printing.

Experts on each field will also be on the scene with talks and panel discussions running throughout the day.

Such talks include one on the future of robots and employment, another on women in drama and film, and some life advice on how to manage difficult conversations at home.
