Those tumbling down to Croke Park this week have been given some important guidelines on how to get the most satisfaction out of The Rolling Stones' visit.

Jagger and Co's organisers have outlined a number of rules including some awkward bag restrictions that might prove stressful for some fans.

The good news is there's plenty of hotels in the city who will look after people's things if they can't avoid bringing them up to the big smoke.

The band themselves have already touched down in Dublin and have been spending their time watching the historic cricket match with Pakistan in Malahide.

It will be their first Ireland concert since 2007 and here's everything you need to know about it.

Can I still get tickets?

Yes you can and they range from €90 to €750 - you can find more information by going to Ticketmaster's website here .

There is a possibility that some will also be available at the box office on the day.

For credit card bookings you can ring 0818 719 300 (ROI) / 0844 277 445 (NI) / 00353 818 903 001 (INTL)

What time should I get there?

Early queuing is not allowed around Croke Park due to it being a residential area - people are being asked to respect the locals.

What can I bring?

Just bring your ticket, your phone, and your cash if it's possible.

Those without bags will be fast-tracked through the queue while those with them are not permitted to bring in anything over A5 (11.45cm x 15.25cm or 4.5 in x 6.0in) in size - this is described as the size of a small book by organisers.
