Ed Sheeran will play three concerts in Dublin next week and the weather is not looking bad.

The first of the Shape of You singer's concerts are on Wednesday, May 18 in the Phoenix Park.

Then he will take a day break before playing on both Friday and Saturday in the Phoenix Park again.

At the moment the Friday and Saturday dates are slightly too far out for any accurate weather predictions.

However the Wednesday gig is close enough to have a fair idea what the weather will be like.

And luckily for fans it is looking like a great day.

Ed Sheeran first gig weather forecast

The start of next week is expected to be glorious in the capital and that will continue as far as Wednesday at least.

Temperatures are going to be hotter on Monday and Tuesday but it is still looking like perfect weather for an outdoor concert.
