Can you hear Ed Sheeran from your house? Thousands of Dubliners listen in on Phoenix Park gig

You don't have to be at Ed Sheeran's concert tonight to listen in it appears.

Thousands of people living close to the venue are able to hear the ginger superstar from the comfort of their homes.

People have been taking to Twitter to tell just how clearly they can hear the songs.

Paul Byrne tweeted: "That’s the clearest I’ve ever heard a concert in Phoenix Park from my house."

Another said: "Chilling in my garden listening to Ed."

Broadcaster Suzanne Kane said: "When people who are unfamiliar with Dublin ask you is it a big city?

"I’ll use this for future reference.

"I live in Dublin 12, the Phoenix Park is Dublin 8, 5.5kms away where they have outdoor concerts.

Of course there also plenty of people who aren't quite as big fans who may not be loving the performance.

If anyone was unable to get tickets to the three shows they now know they could get within a few kilometres of the arena to hear the set.

Ed is set to play again om Friday and Saturday with more massive crowds expected to flock to the Phoenix Park.
